This private site is dedicated to Our
Lady Queen of Peace of Medjugorje. It was inspired by a miraculous
healing of a boy from Jersey in 2004. In May 2004 Father Peter Glas
from West of Jersey Parish and I went on a
Pilgrimage to Medjugorje. It was during this trip that Father Peter
and I prayed for Our Lady to intercede with a healing for
Colm Cahill a 13 year old boy from Jersey. Led by the Strength of
Faith of Father Peter I prayed with All My Heart for a miracle
for a boy I had never met. Together we prayed the stations of the
cross for the intention of a healing. We went to the apparition
hill on the 21st of May 2004 and holding a picture of Colm during
the Visitation I saw Father Peter praying for him to Our Lady. From
the depth of my heart I prayed too not knowing what a change this
would have in my life one year on. Although the boy Colm was too
sick to travel he prayed in his garden in front of a shrine of Our
Blessed Lady of Medjugorje. At 9.p.m. on the 21st of May 10 p.m. in
Medjugorje our Lady answered our prayers and Colm Cahill we believe
was healed from a terrible illness that had been with him
since he was a child of seven years.

"I had lit ten candles to Our Lady
and at the precise time that Our Lady appeared in Medjugorje all ten
candles were blown out and I was filled with a deep sense of Peace.
It was unlike any feeling I have ever known. it is so hard to
describe, but a real sense of Peace" Colm said. In the following
hours we prayed that there had been a healing with text messages
flying back and forwards it seemed remarkable by the third day that
he had not suffered any more seizures. Before this time he had been
having several each and every day, some lasting hours, the family
had reached the end of the road.

As the days turned to
weeks and the weeks to months Colm and his Mother held strong to the
faith that Our Lady had interceded to her Son for a healing for
Colm. After Colm was finally discharged from hospital they confirmed
that they would travel to Medjugorje to thank Our Lady personally.
His recovery was so remarkable, that within six months, he joined
the Air Cadets and was presented with a certificate by the
Lieutenant Governor of Jersey, Air Chief Marshal Sir John Cheshire
K.B.E, C.B.

One year on, Colm and his Mother
Mary celebrated the anniversary of his healing in Medjugorje with
Father Peter and the rest of the pilgrims that had returned to
witness Our Lady's presence. During the dinner before the cake
celebrating his first anniversary was presented I refrained from
eating and was inspired to write a Hymn of thanks. I completed it
before the cake arrived and after the celebration of the cake
cutting I played it for the first time to all who were there. It was
remarkable I heard it for the first time everyone else did and I am
sure it was not I alone that had composed it.

On the 23rd of May in the Parish
Church of St. James the Apostle in Medjugorje Father Peter
celebrated Holy Eucharist together with other English
speaking Priests and Pilgrims. During the Homily Father Peter gave
testament to the remarkable "Seven Days of Prayer for Healing" that
he had offered Our Lady for Colm's healing and with most people in
tears at the incredible story Colm walked up to the Altar together
with his Mother Mary Cahill, as Father Peter
proclaimed ...............
"If you have doubts don't doubt any
longer...............................He has been a walking sign in
my Life for the past 12 months.........The whole congregation
applauded even many of the Priests and the majority of people, were
in tears, having listened to the testimony. I then played his Hymn
which had been given to me by Our Lady on the evening of the 21st of
May at supper and the congregation joined in with the words of the
chorus, Singing Alleluia, Ave Maria in Medjugorje.
