This picture was taken by Colm on a
visit to Apparition Hill in May 2005. One year on from being healed
he went to the hill on his own where he took this picture whilst
climbing . It is unusual to say the least, as the Sun is behind him.
Many unusual pictures have been taken in Medjugorje some may be
explainable by photographic experts and some may not. The belief
that it could be some doorway to Heaven made by Our Lady to visit us
here is one explanation made by those that have interpreted it for
themselves. Others have described the photo as the result of
Lens Flare or a reflection from the inside of a car window or a bus.
Those that have been there know that no vehicles travel at this
location at this height in this place, so this is not possible. We do not know what it is and perhaps never will. It is interesting to think that some visitors prize the photos that show an unusual image and some are disappointed that their photos show nothing out of the ordinary. If we hold to the messages of Our Lady as " truth to come" as conveyed by the Visionaries, then it is these very same pictures, the ones that show nothing that may be the most unusual in the future. One day a sign for all to see will be in the place where none can see right now In the message from the Gospel, St. Thomas has left us an important message from Our Lord Jesus Christ.. "Blessed are they that Believe yet Cannot see!"
