Fr Peter's
views on his last visit to Medugorje
I
had such a grace to go to Medugorje in April 2008 together with Colm. I
spent an amazing ten days with our lady whilst experiencing many gifts
of the Holy Spirit. As we do every year, Colm and myself gave testimony
about his healing and shared our faith with many other pilgrims seeking
graces through Medugorje. It was a lovely experience making new friends
with people from all over the world.
We had a very
moving experience meeting Fr Svet who took Colm and myself to the
Mother's village to meet a group of young men who had serious drug
issues. We gave testimony to these young men, which had an amazing
impact. They have offered their prayers and spiritual support in return.
We both hope to go back in a few weeks for Colm's 4th anniversary
of his healing on the 21st of may so we can truly gives
thanks to Our Lady. Colm and myself joke often that it is going to be
his 4th birthday. He is the youngest 17 years old on earth.

Colm's views
on his last visit to Medugorje
I went to Medugorje this
time with no real plan or spiritual objectives. That turned out to be a
fantastic plan in itself. The spontaneous nature of my last trip lead to
such a fantastic experience of being lead 100% by the Holy Spirit. Fr
Peter and myself once again gave testimony that was an amazing
opportunity to spread the good news of God's grace. I was ill and
hopeless before I was healed, when we give testimony to 200 people if
one person is given hope I am happy knowing we have helped. The
testimony does not belong to Fr Peter or myself. Instead you whom are
reading at this very moment are the ones who truly witness. My healing
is a testimony to Our Lady of Medugorje.
She is your mother and she loves every single one of us. She is here to
take us along the path of God's will and holiness. And she will always
be in our hearts no matter how many oceans separate us from Medugorje.
We are all her witnesses and every pilgrim has a story. I had some
amazing experiences meeting new people and spending time in front of
Jesus in exposition. I met one young man called Jordan from the United
States. He told me a story about how he found a book about Medugorje and
then felt he had to come. He had never been to Medugorje before and he
put full faith in where he was going and made the journey with his
mother. Acts of faith such as this are so inspiring.
I will be returning to Medugorje
in a few weeks from now. I want to pray in thanksgiving for the grace
that god allows me to live. I was healed on 21st of May 2004
now returning on my four-year anniversary of my healing the exact same
date and hour. I feel will be so powerful and in a special way so close
to my heart.
